Thread: possible injector replacements

hi, i have a 98 tdi 300 and would be interested in your thoughts regarding injector replacement about 12 months ago i replaced the head gasket fuel filter etc . the car has started to blow a fair bit of black smoke on take off and excellerating up hills etc is it worth a change of injectors without the injector pump being serviced i had the injectors checked for pressure when we did the head gasket and found them to be between 70/80% any help would be appreciated .cheers

New ones from the uk are bout 40-50 pound each, which could be worthwhile
