Thread: injector pump leak

Hi all,

I have just discoverd that my 300 TDI injector pump is leaking. It looks like it is leaking between the cutoff solinoid and the manafold that holds the injector pipes on. i.ts a bit hard to see as the leak is underneath. Tried to find a diagram of how it goes together on the rave cd but there seems to be no such picture. is there a seal or o ring of some discription that i can replaceorisit more to it than that.

If its between the cast steel HP head and the body of the pump its a big O ring. I did mine from a tutorial on the VW golf forum. Its still going OK. You can buy the O ring for $10 or so from a diesel shop.

Yea i think it is. do you know what size it is as i will have to drive the disco there to get it.
