    electrical diagram for 94 electric windows

    Can anyone please help with a wiring diagram for the electric windows for a 94 3.9.The windows are playing up and my electrician could only get a 96 diagram which was not the same.

    By 1994 you mean a 'LA' VIN? (Pre update) if a MA VIN then it will be the same as a 1996 (TA VIN) anyway. LA VIN is similar to RR classic non soft dash, no relays or ECU's they will justnblow fuses if you hold the button down

    Thanks Justinc.Mine is the first of the update and therefore it is the MA but the electrician was emailed a 96 wiring diagram and they said that it was different in regards to the color coding.Also the new China engine import I have just fitted is a 97 or 98 model and the wiring loom connections were different to mine.Maybe being and early update,the wiring may be the same as pre update .Does anyone have an LA 93-94 pre update electrical wiring diagram or a 94 Update diagram?.Would be mighty grateful if someone can help.

    Shane, just get a RAVE CD from Dave (INC) from the shop 'Daves interesting things' in the AULRO shop section and all will be revealed. IIRC the colour coding doesn't change from 1994 to at least VA 1997 VIN, perhaps even until WA 1999.

    What is the problem with your windows???

    Hey JC thanks for the reply.I have a rave manual on pdf but not the electrical wiring diagrams and I can't use a rave cd because I run Linux and not Windows.In regards to the problem with the windows,basically the windows are not working.I just recently fitted a new motor and since then a few electrical issues have arisen,not sure why because I have kept the original wiring all intact.All problems have been fixed except for the windows.There was an earth wire that had come off but when it is connected the windows instantly go right down and will not operate normally.Hope I can get it sorted soon as this is holding me off from getting a blue slip so I can finally enjoy the car after a lengthy re build.
