Should be 2 hoses onto the T piece. 1 goes to the diaphram near the accelerator cable, the 2nd goes across the firewall and through to the brake pedal vacuum switch.
Evening all,
Just a quickie. My cruise con didn't work this morning so when I got home I did the oil and filters and had a look at the cruise hoses. I did find 1 crack so I trimmed but still no luck. However, when fiddling around I noticed that the T junction behind the washer res has the tube going down but mine isn't connected to anything. Is this right? I have looked down behind (reservoir still in place) but cannot see anywhere that looks to be the connecting point.
Cheers as always,
Phil

Nearly... There should be 3 hoses on the T-Piece.
One goes to the throttle controller diaphragm.
One goes down the wing towards the front of the car, beside the air intake and into a small hole just behind the light. In there it should attach to a vacuum pump.
The third goes off across the firewall and attaches to a switch on the brake pedal.
Of these the only real pain in the ass is the one attached to the vacuum pump because it's very fiddly to get to.
If I were you (and I was you a few weeks ago) I'd replace the whole lot. If one piece has a crack in it and letting in air, you'll probably find you're forever chasing your tail. It'll work for a while then another crack appears and it stops again. Or it's extremely sluggish to pick up and hold speed.
Since replacing all the hoses on mine (grand total of $24 from AutoBarn with a bit left over which I used to bleed the brakes in the end) the CC is responsive and holds the speed well even up hills :-)
Hope that helps,
Steve.
Thanks guys,
it is the pipe to the throttle control diaphragm that has come off, found it, cant believe I missed it!!
Cheers
