a body lift, lifts the body off the frame using spacers.. - with a body lift you need to look at extending break lines, and its a hard 2 person job, I would tend to leave this for if you want a 4 inch lift, then you can get 2 from body 2 from suspension..

spring lift, replaces springs and coils currently there with bigger ones.. I prefer spring lift if its just for a 2" rise..

I just ordered one of suspension stuff for 770.. dont know what quality or pricing is on ebay.. but check out suspension stuff

A body lift won't give you any more clearance off road since all you are doing with that is lifting the body up on the chassis. Clearance under the car won't change.

A suspension lift will increase you clearance under the chassis as it lifts the whole chassis above the axles.

If you're not going to be looking a changing your Disco into a monstor truck then there's no point going for the body lift. You'll only really need this if you're going for quite big tyres and, as pistolpete say, it's a lot of work to do.

A 2" suspension lift & 31" tyres will give you a decent bit of extra clearance when compared to standard suspension and tyres.

Yeah I've heard lots of issues with a body lift and probably is the cheap and nasty version. Get onto suspension stuff as they are really good in quality equipment, price and service.
