    Goodyear Wrangler AT/SA tyres

Just looking for any info on Wrangler AT/SA tyres. ( Yes I've used the search button )
I can get a set of 245/70 R16s for what looks like a decent price, but have had no experience with these tyres and a google search has come up with mixed results.

My Disco 1 runs 235/70 R16s at the moment, and has a 2 inch lift, so I'm assuming from other threads here that the 245s shouldn't have clearance problems ??

    Any info greatly appreciated.

I have those on my D2 with a 2" lift. No clearance problems. I rotated them recently after 40k and they look about half worn. The ride is a bit harsher than the 235/70 Michelins I had previously due to the LT construction of the Wranglers. The extra diameter has resulted in the speedo reading about 2% low compared to the 235s (which had the speedo spot on).

Most importantly, they look good! They seem to be better proportioned to the Disco than the 235s.

I had 245/70/R16 Bridgestone ATs on my previous 98 D1. It was unmodified and there was plenty of clearance. You shouldn't have any problems with the size.
