You need to replace the tail shaft and the diff flange. You will also need a spacer which you can buy.
I've got all the bits, just need to do the job now.

I've decided I am going to replace the Disco.
As yet I have not fitted the rotoflex replacement kit (tailshaft, flange, spacer) that I bought, so I have it for sale if you have not sourced one already.
PM me if interested.

I did the exact same jod recently with a shaft from my old 86 Rangie.I used a flange from the front diff from the Rangie which was from a 97 Disco. As pointed out by Wongdai make sure you don't forget the spacer before the flange goes on,the spacer is about 12mm thick and without it you will get a heap of backlash.Removing the Disco flange was a bugger of a job because a centering bush with a threaded centre has to be removed to access the pinion nut and I had to gently cut the flange apart with a grinder due to a pulley not working because it was so tight as they are fitted with loctite.A good slide hammer could be a worth a try also.Good luck.
Cheers
Shane
