    castor bushes and vibration

Has anyone fixed a front prop shaft vibration after a suspension lift with modified castor bushes.I am aware that modified castor bushes will increase the shaft angle but also that they can bring the uni angles back into phase.Just would like to know other people's experiences with this.

    Cheers

I'm going double carden joint front prop shaft once the cash flow allows. I went to 6 degree front radius arms but many have said you should just get your swivel hubs slotted that way it keeps the angle for the prop shaft within normal angles. With the cash i shelled out for radius arms im not going backwards to find out. Be nice to hear what route you take and what it does for you

Yeah Nicho,I will be slotting the swivels also as I have done it before on an old Rangie years ago and IMHO it is the only way to go to correct steering castor angle. As far as diff angles go though I have rotated diffs upward on other vehicles with success to eliminate shaft vibrations but have been told that the Disco's can be sensitive with prop shaft angle changes and the uni angles can go out of phase.I will go down the DC shaft path if needed but just trying to save some money if possible at the moment.
