Thread: 1995 300tdi to the rescue

so went camping this weekend with my wife and two kids and our nieghbours with thier two kids. Camped at a water hole in the pilbara, I had my stock standard disco with a swag on top and a couple of tents, mate had his 2010 V8 diesel cruiser with a camper trailer towed behind. got to the camp site and the cruiser starts bogging down in soft river sand, 285/17 muddies. he puts it in low range, all the electronics are cutting in and not letting him go anywhere, its an auto. I advise him to put his tyres down, still no progress, Enter the basic old disco, put her in low and pulled him out first time, cruiser with trailer still attached. couldnt help but rub it in for the next couple of hours!!

Pity it was a mate, i would have left the ugly pos where it stuck
