    pod filters

    i wanna see how people have put on pod filters my air box is in 30 odd bits now so i wanna change it i dont do river or water crossing or mud so i think it would be safe


    any photos would be good

    S1 disco 95 3.9L v8 is my weapon of choice

    Redgardless of whether you drive through mud and water, a pod filter will let a LOT more dust into your engine than the OEM filter. It is highly inadvisable on a 4x4.

    Heres a test for your pod filter, hold it up to the sun, if you can see dots of sunlight through it, paint it green and throw it into tall grass, Regards Frank.

    that bad ay??? it was advised by a gas installer as min blows up to much oh well guess will have to fork out dollor

    And then some...

    If you have problems with LPG, try the earlier type cylindrical element with a metal housing. You should be able to pick one up from a wrecker. A defender Tdi element and housing will also work if you can squeeze it in (they are slightly larger, and have an inegral pre-cleaner).

    In the meantime ... Have a good hard "look n measure" at a Ford 90 to 99 airbox ..... Might just fit

    ummmm why would i be due to go to SA i wonder what are you trying to say victoria not good enought for you? lol alough be a good change ay id could almost double my wadge too as boilermaker/ sheetmetal

    well quick ring around and i found my self an early metal cylindrical of air cleaner so i'll grab that
