    Welcome Brett,,
    firstly dont panic!

Look under the drivers seat for a (gawd think man!) yellow? connector,, should be just hanging around,, give it a wiggle.
The SRS is for your airbags, ABS is your antilock brakes and no,, their not connected until you don't use one in time

hi again, took pedros advice and looked under the drivers seat for the srs connector ,dammed if i can find it ,do u have to take the seat out to acsess this???i seem to just have the two crash sensors at either side at the front comeing back to the two airbags, then some electrical wires and such under the drivers side dash??its a 1996 model but a late 1995 build if that makes a difference, once again any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Giday all, I have this SRS light problem also after having the battery go flat. I did a check of all the plugs & am assuming there no other faults. The lights blinks for a while after start up but then stays on. As mentioned previously, does the light eventually go out or does it have to be cleared? D1 95 build. There is a muilt pin plug in the foot well to the left of the steering column. Would appreciate advise in this matter

My SRS is on again. No plug under my seat. Last time it was a dirty sensor on the wheel. I haven't gotten around to getting it fixed yet.

Thanks DiscoMick, After you fix the fault, in your case dirty sensor, do you have to clear the fault by plugging it into a "textbook" or the like or does the light go out automatically?

My srs light came on and stayed on for a while, then remembered i was chasing some wires under the dash once before it was on. So got it reset for $70 and fixed the prob.
