Maybe if your gonna run your v8 axles keep an eye out for a defender 1.4 transfer case.
Will cope betterer with the 35s and means you wont need to regear the diffs.
The issue with the front radius arms is the width of the front two bushes. Since you are gonna change arms and axles it wont be a drama. Does your v8 run dual front brake circuits? If not the easiest thing to do will be to swap booster and master from v8 to 200 tdi when you change over the axles.
