    31s on standard D1 (URGENT)

Hi all, just need to know if 31 inch tyres would fit on a D1 with no lift...i wouldnt be going off road with them, just on road at the moment...any advice would be great! Thanks Dave.
    also what about 265x75x16???

Yes if you mean 245.75x16 and no. You may have to do a camel cut even with 245s.

245/75/R16 will almost definately need a camel cut without a spring lift, the tyres are likely to scrap even when going over speedbumps/curbs

with a spring lift you could get away with no camel cut if you don't do much off road other than the occasional gravel track/paddock

as soon as you get any real amount of flex 245s will often scrap unless you have both the lift and the camel cut

I ran 245/75 mud tyres for 3 years on stock Disco 1 suspension and had NO rubbing anywhere.

I've been running 31x10.5x15 for a few years on 50mm lifted springs. When I first fitted the tyres they scrubbed all the time. It nearly ruined the rear tyres and actually actually tore the guards up on the inside.

It also depends on what rims you plan to run, stock disco rims with 265/70/16 (close enough to 31") will be fine except untill you hit kerbs or speed humps hard , if you use 15x7 or 15x8's your tyres will contact the guards.
