Thread: A Heater Query

G'day all!
My heater has recently been showing some abnormal behaviour. When turning the rotary knob from cold to warm not much will happen until you reach the very last part of its range, when really warm air will emerge. I understand most of you will not have much use for the heater, but where I live it really is necessary, but by no means I want to get toasted all the time. Anyone here having an idea what the cause of the problem might be and how to remedy this? The truck is a Tdi, btw.

Drop the fuse box flap & look in there. It's possible the flap linkages need looking at.
