Air Bags
Well after my recent trip to Innamincka I think ive decided to fit Air Bags to my Disco to help with the occasional load I put in the back. Anyone heard any good / bad stories about the Polyair and Firestone ones?
Also has anyone fitted them to the front, shock repositioning needed?
I met a guy with a Paj and he said he was very happy with the way it performed with them fitted, especially the floodways where it used to bottom out when taken at any speed.
Thats the sort of thing im after.
Thanx
Dave

I've had a pair of firestone (blue) in the rear of my d1 for some time now: all good for towing and heavy loads.

As to fronts - whilst possible ( use RR air suspension parts) it's more the go to get a set of different springs all round. ( 2 inch lift for example)

Thanx langy, ive thought about going the 2 inch lift but am not convinced thats what I need.
Ive seen them on the Airbag man site, thats why I wanted to know if either was better than the other.
Thanx

I have Firestones in the rear of mine and I'm very happy with them.
I'm using a 2" lift set.

I've been running polyairs in the rear for years and years without problem. Very happy. Its a daily driver, play toy and a tourer.
Cheers

Thanx to you all for your replies. Ive sent off an email to The Airbag Man for a quote on a set of rear bags.
