    D1 300TDi Uni joints front propshaft

    Hi all i am wondering if the two uni joints in the front propshaft are the same part.

    yep, if you dont have the donut down the back all 4 are same same.

    Awesome. If I do you have the doughnut, then what am I looking for to replace the rear uni joint? By doughnut do you mean the rubber block between the rear prop shaft and the diff?

    new prop shaft, new diff flange, a spacer ring and about an hours worth of work.

    If you're getting the parts out of a donor vehicle grab the whole rear diff carrier (and driveshafts) unless you know a machinist who will make the spcer rings ring for you

    Thanks very much dave. i appreciate the info, we've got the front unis done, but i now supect that the t/f case end of the rear propshaft may have gone. so on to that now. On goes the life of a Landy Owner. : )

    Dave, Don't you mean a Front carrier as the rear will probably still have the flange for the Donut.
