    CDL activation

    Hi all, my first post on this forum - I've installed a CDL actuator in my MY2000 D2 but unlike your D1's the D2 didn't come from the factory with a selectable CDL and so there's no operating instructions in the D2 Owners Handbook - oh yes i do know how it all works but I'd really like to insert the 'missing' pages into my D2 handbook.

    Would someone be able to scan or photograph the relevant pages from the D1 Owners Handbook and put them up on the forum so i can grab them down.

    many thanks, onebob

    You dont need 'em...

    Forward = Low
    Back = High
    Left = CDL Locked
    Right = CDL Unlocked

    Don't use locked on solid surface (bitumen etc)

    CDL in high or low is acceptable (can change at basically any speed, just lift off a little and push left...
    Do it in a straight line only, with all wheels at same speed (not churning through sand or mud!)

    To select low be rolling ever so slightly in neutral and push forward firmly.
    Ditto changing back to high....
