This is a pretty common fault. Usually it is a dry solder joint in the PCB that controls the windows. The PCB is located in behind the glove box. If you pull glove box out you will see the control panel in a housing. If you are handy with a soldering iron all you need do is re-solder the dry joint and you should be sweet.
