Need help with tyre choice
Ive been looking at a few different tyres and at the moment have my eye on a set of 32in simex extremes now I have had 33 in simexs before (33/10.5/16) and it turned my gearing to crap I am looking at 32in simexs this time (245/85/16) but on further reassurance I see there is only 7mm difference in size between them what I want to know is will these be as bad as the first simexs I tried or should I just go back to a 245/75/16

Ditch the simex and go some 265/75-16 mickey Thompson MTZ's . There equivalent to a 32" and a really good tyre

My mtzs have gotten me pretty much everywhere and aren't to bad on the road either. Good rubber. Look pretty tough too

I"m very happy with Maxxis Bighorns in the 235/85/16 (32'). cheaper than BFG's.

I went with Nexen Roadian M/T in 235/86/16. wearing well after 10000kms and cant fault them offroad. a little interesting on wet roads if pushing on a bit, but at $170ea i can live with that
