Hi all,
Is there a different size sump plug between the 200 and the 300tdi engines ?
I ask this question because the new sump plugs I got(britpart GI 1047?4,corresponding to 603659 dont want to go in.

They will go in maybe 2 turns by hand then I had to use spanner to tighten up,but it will only tighten about 3/4 of the way in.

Took it back out and checked thread with old plug, it appears to be the same,but not sure whether its a metric or imperial size thread.

Can put old plug in all the way by hand and just need to tighten it up with spanner.
