Is a negative castor angle dangerous

After fitting my Disco1 with 2inch lifted springs the castor angle at wheel alignment has gone from +2degrees before the lift to a -1.

Is this a dangerous situation or should I just see how it handles. I have just ordered a new steering damper to help after the lift, tough dog return to centre which I will fit shortly. What are other's experiences with a negative castor angle. DO I really need to fit the corrected arms or bushes?? Thanks

What you need to do is castor correction via slotted swivels. You will probably find it shimmys and / or has very light steering.

    Thanx for the replies

I've seen the castor bushes on-line. I haven't seen the arms yet, but on a budget I bet the castor bushes are the cheaper option? Are they easy to fit, or do you need a press to put them in? Are they a DIY with basic tools?? or best to get a shop to install them? I try most things myself, with limited knowledge I must admit.

Bushes will be cheapest, but bushes or arms are both inelegant solutions to the problem and can both induce driveline vibrations.
