    New Shocks ........what brand??

    Hi all,

I'm in desperate need to replace my shocks after a trip from dorrigo to Glenn Innes through some back roads which was very harsh, rocky which the shocks could not handle. Basically the whole car was the damper!! So, i am after some thoughts on what would be the go?

I've been thinking about going the KYB ones that are listed or should I just bite the bullet an throw sone Koni or Bilstein's in?

    Cheers in advance

When I was contemplating bilsteins this was the cheapest place that I found

    Bilstein Shocks | Bilstein PSS10 | Bilstein PSS9 | Eibach Springs | Koni Shocks | Tokico Shocks

    international but worth it.

That's some bloddy good pricing, better than U.k figures I've been looking at, especially on the koni's. Actually both top brands are within range of what kyb were going to be but are not as good.

    Thanks mate!

Get some Koni 8240 shocks (not the 30 series shown in that last link). You will not be disappointed.

How are they compared to B6'ers? I've had billies before in a classic which where great but offroad seemed to get a bit harsh at times. had rancho also which I don't rate at all

I got my bilsteins from Bilstein Shocks, KW Suspensions and much more: eShocks.com, best price on postage as well

As Red90 suggested, get some prices on Koni.

Proven Products at Albury are one of the two importers and have looked after me very well over the years.

8240 Koni Heavy Tracks will also have slightly better open/closed lengths than the equivalent Billies too.
