    Cargo barrier mounting

    Hi all,

I want to install a cargo barrier in the D1 to maximise space usage in the boot when packed up for camping etc...

I know that milford do one but couldn't stomach the price so I want to fabricate my own. I am not fussed about it being able to move forward to behind the front seats as there are three of us now, and always will be for the next 20 or so years .

It looks like it would be easy enough to pick up the rear seat mounting bolts (at the front of the rear seats) for a lower mounting point, but I'm not sure about the upper mounting points. Of the few photos i have been able to find on here of cargo barriers it looks like they are mounted to some point between the alpine and rear windows.

Does anyone have one installed that they could show detailed photos of the mounting method? or at least give a detailed description?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Ron has previously posted the Milford cargo barrier fitting instructions to give you an idea of where the mounting points should be located.

I Have a D1 with the cargo barrier mounts that I am pulling out and would be willing to part with. Not sure, but I think they are genuine parts????.
Don't have the barrier just the mounts.
PM me if you want more info.
    Cheers
