    roof bars for a D1

    hi. i am chasing after some roof bars for my D1.
    anyone know of places to buy them?

    Should be able to get them from supercrap auto or autobarn or similar, you just need the ones with long legs to fit the roof height.

    Fleabay have sets of 3 for $270+ mail and sets of 3 for $180+ mail depending on which style you want. Both are high lift for over the factory bars.

    Are you after the cross bars to go on the existing roof rails, or a compete replacement roof rack?

    my disco has none at all. i want the roof bars that go the width of the car. looking at installing a awning to the car.

    I have a set of Pro Rack Tradesmen bars on my 94 D1. I dont remember the code but the legs are about 320mm high.

    I use 2 sets (4 bars across the roof) and they are pretty good.

    Auto-one stores have 20% off all Rhino Racks and accessories in their current catalogue. I bought a set last year with this xmas deal plus accessories which have 2 racks above the high roof line. I also have a set of sports bars (rola, but rhino have similar) which stay on the vehicle all the time and stay under the high roof line which I have attatched an Awning to and stays on most of the year round. The lower sports bars allow you to still go in underground carparks and also fit in the carport at home
