That looks completely different to my ARB windbag bar mounts, shouldnt require any trimming so unless you have the wrong ones i would think they go the other way around.
I know this will seem a stupid question, but which side goes to the inside of the chassis ? Thje honeycomb or the large rectangular hole. If it's the honeycomb it would appear I have to trim the brackets along the red line. Disco is a '97 model with SRS

I'm surprised that you would need to trim them but then with the variations in bars i suppose they are multifit.

They don't go inside the chassis, they go along the outside of it & then bolt through the chassis.
It would be a trial & error, from memory the longer side goes on the inside of the chassis. I could be wrong, it's been a while since I had a D1. :-)

Hey Saitch once you sorted this out can you confirm the bar you bought does it fit a winch straight up to it or do you have to have a cradle to fit the winch in?
