This is the one I have, just the intake "pipe" has been cut to about 1cm long - Land Rover Discovery Series 1 Genuine Air Box | eBay - so a snorkel would come of the side, how do you block/water-proof the existing intake? :confused:

When new the Safari snorkels come with a plug for the intake once the horn is removed.
I used aluminium flashing and glue on mine after cutting the horn off entirely to get more room for a second battery.
I have the airflow, ended up using flexi hose from snorkel to original air box intake just using hose clamps to secure (this means no dual battery). I did this as I found it a bit difficult to get it all matched up as they suggest. Only after installing did I come across the Scintex snorkel kit (google search it) seems pretty good, haven't heard of any reviews though
