    Replacement windscreen?

I've read through some of the older posts detailing people's issues with getting a replacement windscreen.

Considering I'm about to take my d1 in for a rwc and there is no doubt it needs a new screen, can anyone recommend a good company to fit it?

    I'm based in thornbury, Melbourne.

    Cheers Cam

Hi Cam , I recently had a windscreen replaced by the Novus guy up in Brisbane and he was $300 as compared to $600 quoted by O'Brien etc . The difference was that he reckoned 99% of the time you don't need a new windscreen rubber and he guaranteed that it wouldn't leak ( and it hasn't )So try ringing around and see who will do something similar in your neck of the woods . I think a lot of installers will wack a new rubber in if it is an insurance job .Plead poverty like I did and see what happens !
