Thread: 4 Door seats into a 2 door

Hi Guys

I am a larger guy and I have this horrible habit of breaking drivers seats, I have managed to break 2 in my 2 door so far, I am thinking that the seats out of a 4 door might be more supported because they don't do the front flip thing.

The seats have both broken in the same place so I think it is a weak point and not coincidence, the rail in the seat track has broken about 4 inches from the rear of the rail on both side and the back of the seat now sinks right down

As I am getting tired of replacing these and they are not so easy to find I have just 3 Questions:

1: Will a 4 door seat bolt into a 2 door

2: Is there any way I can reinforce the seat tracks on the 2 door seats.

3: Does anyone in Melbourne have a brown seat in good nick that will fit for a reasonable price
