Thread: Backlash coming from front drive and transfer

Ill try engaging CDL and test in ths morning. Ill let you know results and see if the problem can be diagnosed.
When i do move the prop the noise def comes out of the front of the TC. Just after where the prop meets the TC. But def inside of TC

A suggested by JC, have you eliminated the diff as an issue? Would pay to drop the drive shaft off the front diff and see if you have play there, or if it is in the TC.

Just trying to help pin point the issue - JC is a bit of an oracle when it comes to Landies, so I would be doing what he suggests first.
