Very nice! How do you get to the gaps in the side? Just through the back door, or is there access from the top?
Thought I'd show off my efforts this week. pretty happy with it.. cost me a fraction of the price if I had bought them, plus its pretty unique (so buying wasn't an option anyway), suits my needs perfectly.

Well the original plan was to have some access from the top, like little hinged panels or something, but the top piece that is currently there used to be shelf that sat about 300mm off the floor of the boot, so all i did was raise it hight enough to clear the fridge, then never got any further
So far I've found that the left side is a perfect gap to chuck in some small stuff like folding shovel, shackles, snatch strap, so I think i'll just leave it for now. On the right side, thats where I'll be mounting my inverter and compressor, then probably blank off the opening to make it look a little neater..

Just a thought,
the fridge might be suffering from lack of ventilation.

98% of all Land Rovers built are still on the road.
The other 2% made it home.
Cost difference between Britpart and Genuine seals: £2.04. Knowing that your brakes won't fail at any moment: Priceless.
Looks good.
Does the whole thing come out easily, in case you need to get to the fuel pump.
Yeah I was worried about it, so I looked up the specs in the manual, and there is plenty as it is. plus I attacked the divider with a 13mm drill bit and now there is plenty of airflow around it
On the few tests I've done, running it for several hours, it seemed happy enoughshall wait till summer then see

Can't say I've even thought about it!! It would come out with a bit of work, the drawer and fridge slide just slide off the rails, the rest is simply screwed together...
Now that I've done all this it's bound to be the next thing to go eh? I've owned plenty of bombs in the past, done plenty of random jobs/fixes, not a fuel pump... probably why it never crossed my mind... ohwell.... thems the breaks
Thanks for the pointer though
