    Rear Panhard Rod

    Hi all,

This might seem weird but my 1993 3.5lt Discovery has no rear panhard rod, doesnt even appear to be mountings for it, would that be right, I have tried searching but cant find the Spec for the rear axle

    Thanks

No landrover has ever been produced with a rear panhard rod to my knowledge.

A panhard is needed on the front for axle location as there are only 2 other links (radius arms). No panhard is needed on the rear as axle location is performed by the two trailing arms and the upper a-frame.

The Disco 2 has rear radius arms but uses a watts link instead of a panhard for rear axle location.
