Cheers I am not alone...
I found something my Disco can't do today.
She no like deep mud, mud and ruts so deep she bottomed out her diffs and could make no progress in either direction.
Thankfully it was but a short walk across half of SA to ask one of the neighbours for help. A gentle pull backwards of a mere 2 mtrs, and she was free and under her own power again.
Lesson learned, next time watch the track ahead more carefully, Disco she no like deep muddy ruts at all.![]()
Cheers I am not alone...
Whack some 235/85's on there and it should go through nicely, after all the ruts are made by Toyotas and Patrols on 35's, so an LR on tall, narrow 32's will walk through
Cheers

Since done for me![]()
Judging by the number of afore mentioned vehicles in our street, you're probably right Will.
Worst part of the lot was, the guy who pulled me out was in a shiny new Bravo 4x4 ute.
Hangs head in shame.
Surprised he could get close enough to you to give you a tug out!!
Mine has a similar aversion to deep mud. Last time it happened to me properly I went through a section a Patrol just got stuck up to his sills. I made it heaps further through and found a deeper bit the Disco looked at, picked up it's skirt and called for mummy!
Mine had a happy ending though, the other Disco with me have me a pull out. Didn't have to rely on some inferior model to get stuck trying to rescue me!
