    LIFTED SPRINGS

What is the distance between axle and bump stops on standard springs?I reckon my sons d1 has a 2"lift and he says it hasn't.

Dunno about axle to bump stop distance, but mine has a lift and the distance from the centre of the hubs to the top of the wheel arch is (I think, from memory):
    front - 500mm
    rear - 540mm

Have a look at the RTA data base for standard heights

    Road Vehicle Descriptor Online

You are looking at, hub centre to wheel arch, front 460mm rear 490mm

a d1 with the heavy duty springs when empty sits about 30mm over the nominal height of a d1 with the stock srpings.
