    MAF and TPS Today

Ok so today today I decided to clean and adjust the Maf and Tps, When tested the Tps was at 1.18 v and the maf was at 2.59v set then to .34mv and 1.3v cleaned the Stepre and the oil thing on top of the rocker cover, first thing I noticed was the maf plug was full of crap, once all cleaned and started for first time, she coughed a bit for a second, then ran nice and smooth, went for a run and beautiful, more throttle response, but the biggest difference was when idling no more rich smell from the exhaust, time will tell now to see if my economy improves a bit

This MAF plug needs regular attention on mine.I have cleaned it and twisted the pins but after a few months it needs to be redone, often a bit of a wriggle will return a smooth idle.
I am thinking of modifying it to an alternative plug setup has anyone done this?.Alternatively can you purchase a replacement original plug for them?
I recall reading a post where these plugs were know to be an issue from new.

Yeah the pins on the MAF itself but only a very slight twist to improve the connection in the plug. They shouldn't need this but I think the plug contacts lose some of their "spring" with age,or maybe they were never up to the job.

Will try twisting my pins abit on my maf, I noticed when I was checking my connections a month ago when I applied pressure and wriggled the maf connection the idle went dead smooth.
