    door problem

    hi guys I have an annoying problem with our passenger door it locks ok un locks with central locking but when you pull on the handle to open it the button falls down ever so slightly and wont allow you to open unless it is held up any ideas please

    This mob in Sydney might be worth a call/email if you have problems sourcing some plus they do postage.

    The part number according to the link I gave you is, part no MTC9505 Door Lock Mechanism Link Spring only.

    May also pay to get some spare door trim clips part no:MWC9134 <C> as they tend to break easily when taking off the door trim.

    Common problem with spring broken. Back doors are easy to access the locks, but front door was a pain in the .... to get to the lock itself. Have to take the mirror off and window frame held up out the way to access. So just allow some time to do it and follow the instructions, from Haynes or other, not to miss a step.
