Rattly Muffler
Ah well, looks like more money spent on the old girl before I start doing her up, but I suppose it is part of doing her up anyway.
Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed a rattle at idle & thought it was a lose exhaust but when I finally got underneath to check it out it actually comes from inside the huge muffler box. So I suppose this is the end of that & it looks so new too
.
It has an old fashioned hot dog at the rear but it is still a very quite system so you don't even know it's an 8 till you plant it. So I was wondering if I put in a straight through box or bigger (than the back one) hot dog will that keep it reasonably quite but louder than it was?

Get a decent quality tri-flow type muffler and fit that instead, noisy exhausts give me a headache!
