Where to shop - online/local? Sump gasket 300tdi.

Hi all, looking for a few motor bits for my newly acquired 300tdi disco (280thou KM so far. Plods along as expected).

Anyway shes leaky, trying to figure out where its coming from.
Im hoping my rear main is not gone, so starting with the simple fixes of a degrease/sump gasket (which is obviously leaky).

Where would you suggest sourcing one from, Im based in Southern Adelaide.
    Online, sprints, local LR stealership?
Where have you used, and what sort of experience have you had??

And failing sump gasket fixing the problem, a rear main?
Have heard mixed reviews about various rear mains (leaking soon after install ), any recommendations there or what and where to source??

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you considered using RTV silicone to seal the sump? Better for sealing IMO, but can be a pain to get off and clean again...

i think the previous owner has done this, and its leaking pretty bad.
thats why i was thinking gasket may have provided a better seal, but if RTV silicon will provide a better seal that may be the option.

Just checked and the D1 workshop manual actually states to use sealant, not a gasket. So there may not even be a gasket part.

    Cleanmatingfacesofsump,timinggearhousing and cylinder block.
Applya2,0mmbeadof’HylosilRTV102’tothe sump flange, ensuring bead is applied inboard of the bolt holes.
Secure sump to block with bolts. Tighten to 25 Nm.
    Done properly it shouldn't leak.

    Two options:

    1. The AULRO store for $16.50 delivered on CD. "Store" link at the top of the page, or follow below link. Proceeds help support the forums.
    Dave's Interesting Things - Rave I

    2. Google until you find it for free. (Yes it's there).

I buy most of my Land Rover parts from Karcraft in Silverwater, Sydney.
Always good prices and great delivery times and they know what they're talking about, Regards Frank.

However, they are available. My sump was leaking from a previous install without a gasket (by a mechanic in the past). All fixed with the use of a gasket. There is a part number, just don't recall what it is. Call British Car Components British Car Components - spares and parts for British cars, Melbourne Victoria, Australia, and they do ship.
