    door lock HELP needed....

    Hello again trusted fellow Forumites...

I'm having some serious issues with my central locking and need very very urgent help...
After taking it offroad a few weeks ago all locks went kaput to a very annoying point: No more central locking - even the drivers door refused to pop open.

I have replaced a few of the actuators in the past and know that two doors require those little lock springs (which I had already sitting here for a few months, but never found the time to install) so I started tackling the issue yesterday and got driver & passenger door to work again with the remote, but both rear door actuators are reluctant to work with me.... it seems like the actuators are too weak to open the lock..?

The rear driver side was in need of a spring, but otherwise usually reacted to the central locking prior to my last offroading, now the actuator does sync with the rest when not connected to the lock but won't push the rod far enough to unlock when installed.
I had the lock out to replace the spring and cleaned & oiled all moving parts, however the actuator does not seem to be strong enough to move the lock.
I thought it might be a bit stiff due to the new spring, but am experiencing the same issue on the other side where I have not replaced the spring.
So I blamed the actuators themselves and bought a new set, but even they can't open either of the doors.

    Any suggestions anyone??

Do you think it might be a weak earth?
Although, having all of them play up would suggest a system problem like switch or relay.
    Just thinkin.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
earth on master actuator and control unit are fine
Both front doors lock and unlock fine

both rear door actuators are brand new and push & pull fine unless connected to the lock linkage
Lock seems very stiff with the new spring in place - but spring is only replaced on RH side - so no excuse for LH side not working......

What seems to be going on???
Does anyone know whether I need a certain Voltage on the wires connected to the slave actuators??
Both get a signal but it ranges between 0.6 and 1.8V (however this fluctuation could be a multimeter thing..)

Ok. Found it is a power issue -- two central locking kits have been merged here in the past, original (which had a live wire connected to master actuator) and an aftermarket one (which only has the power connected to the unit)

Long story short, I need to find the location where the original actuator wires meet (they are orange & pink):
Going reverse from each door, where are they joined in the wiring loom - would that be just before the fuse?
Does anyone have a diagram handy...??
