Question Long Range LRA Tank - Fit in Disco 1

Hi there, would anyone be able to tell me if an LRA long range tank (120lt.)from a Range rover classic (efi) will fit in a 95 Disco?? Or would it require too much modification?

    cheers

I went the other way with mine - fitted a Disco LRA tank to my '87 RR.

If it's from an early EFI RR, then you're going to have to make up a front mounting bracket. The rear one can be redrilled to suit. The filler comes out in a different spot so some creative bends will need to be made.
The fuel pump is also different but I don't think there's a pressure difference.

Later RRs (about 1991 onwards IIRC) had a plastic tank which used the same fuel pump set up as a D1 & I believe this tank will fit easier into the Disco. I haven't looked closely into this though.
