Before I stick it back in ....(the R380 in 300 tdi you pervert) :)
Long story short, out went the gearbox, and check out the pic what was once pilot bearing, syncro mesh 4th gear and centre section between 3rd and 4th gear (what ever you call it).
Now, I got anothe used gearbox. Could you point me to any things tat might be usefull to do / check while gearbox is out? And what's the most that I can check the second one wihtout taking it apart?
