    Now that I'm a pensioner I can't afford V8's anymore, what is the 302 stroked out to and are the heads Edelbrock or is it the inlet manifold that's Edelbrock, could be worth a quid or two if the heads are Edelbrock, Regards Frank.

    Sorry, its probably the manifold. Bought from deceased estate so non of his family knows about the build, no paperwork.

    Tried Supercheap, Repco and Bursons but nothing in stock. Burson said they could air freight one for $150. Not high priority, so will probably get some via internet. Supercheap have an on line order system so will probably try that - see if I can get them to the local Darwin store without freight

    Any small tin with a screw on lid will do, need an inlet pipe in the side with inside pipe going about halfway down can. An outlet pipe near the top of the can and some of that coarse steel wool, a few brass elbows with spuds like the ones on my oil cooler hoses with some locknuts on the inside. Or buy a bit of thick wall alloy tube and make up top and bottom pieces and screw and glue them on, Regards Frank.
