    Did you notice the output of the Cobra is 5.6 Kw at 24Volts =233 amps.
    I guess the efficiency ratio stated of 70% should increase the amps to 332 amps .
    At 12 volts this would be 664 amps.
    You could not run it long but would be good for a (very) short burst of overtaking. LOL

    I would imagine if they ever got into general use the cars involved would have to be 24 volt at least with a humungous alternator and maybe Lithium battery for fast recovery.

    So maybe possible within 10 years.
