    Cruise control Fix

Well after replacing a lot of bits I probably didn't need to I finally fixed my cruise control today. The main problem was (apart from perished vac lines) the clutch vac switch wasn't contacting the clutch pedal causing the system to think the clutch was depressed all the time. So after slotting in a loose nut with some airframe tape onto the pedal to close the switch it works, it finally works.

Are did you know the switch is on a ratchet? in other words, if you pull on the plunger gently you can extend it that bit further so it takes up the gap. That's how you adjust the vacuum switch
