    3.9 V8 - Replacing camshaft & timing chain

I recently purchased a 1994 manual 3 door 3.9 v8 discovery, she runs really nice but I would like to clean it up a bit.
It has done 228,000kms and I was thinking it would be a good idea to replace the camshaft, lifters and timing chain, and head gaskets because there is some nice oil leaks happening.

What would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Sounds like a good plan. While you are at it, pay some really close attention to the cooling system - water pump, hoses and radiator. It is the cooling that can kill these motors stone dead if not up to scratch.

Put your list together and put in a PM to Roverlord Off Road spares (that's his forum name) he's down in Vic, not sure how close he is to you though.
