Done about 20k on them. They show little signs of wear even after 3k run out west on some shocker roads. One of the best sand tyres I have used.

They feel a bit funny at first as will any tyre when you first run on them..

Over all a good tyre for the cash.

    Cheers

I would be interested if you could describe how ******* they are?????.Not to be a smart ***** but I have done over 100K Km on them (2 different sets) and rate them as one of the better ALL TERRAIN tyres I have purchased. Granted they are not the cheapest but they do wear well, handle well and are extremely quiet onroad ,perform well on sand and in MODERATE off road conditions.
I don't consider myself a hard core mud runner so wouldn't comment on their ability for that sort of use and hence don't buy that sort of tyre.
Sometimes I think we need to take a deep breathe and think about what the tyre is designed for and what we are expecting from it.As an A/T tyre that spends 90% of its time onroad and has proven itself off road on many occasions I really can't fault them.
Interested to hear about your problems as we seem to have had very different experiences.

    Tyres

I put on a new set of BFG's last week (235 70 !6's) from Jax Tyres in Essendon (Melbourne) for $230 each balanced and fitted. Two other quotes were both $249 ea. Bob Jane was one of these.

G'day mate, the big whinge i have with them is wear and very slippery in the wet,the set on the car have only got 27,000ks on them and are very close to change out time.

I keep a close watch on pressures and rotate at regular intervals so i am at a loss as to why they perform the way they have.I also have ran out of traction when a mate on wrangler at's went through the same hole with very little effort.

The shop i got them from can't tell me why i have got so little out of them, but a friend in the know tells me they have more than likely been sitting on a shelf to long before being fitted to my car.

Maybe i got a bad batch but either way my experience has not been a positive one.
