I have a D2 TD5 2002 with Kings Springs 50MM medium in the rear and tow a light camper trailer. The wire diameter is the same as stock and the number of coils the same so my assumption is they are about the same at 220Lb per inch.

I have no bullbar but have fitted RRC green rears to the front . they are 160Lb and lift about 30MM. If you go 50MM on the front it will take away all castor .

I just finished a lap towing the camper including the GRR and loaded and the rears NEVER bottomed as the bump stops are virginal. In fact I have an opposite proiblem in that when unloaded down steep hills the rear suspension bangs quite a bit from topping out.
So I would go medium at the rear and IMHO the fronts around 180 lb inch.
Billies are good but on previous trips I dented the rears and one was a write off at about 40KK.
So on this car I bought Monroe Sensatracs ( cheapo) and they are still fine. If I go on another lap I will buy new ones if the current ones seem tired.
I am a bit of a fanatic on keeping the load light however and if your SWMBO wants to bring the kitchen sink, coffee maker, microwave etc then go heavy, but it will be crap when unloaded.

Ok kit ordered went with dobinsons. I'm a bit over looking at kits. It's amazing a few companies didn't want to know me and basically didn't return my calls. Forgot to ask if anyone uses caster corrected bushes ? I know its only 2 inches. Will post some pics on the weekend

Not in front, but I do use cranked arms at the back APT Fabrication for Land Rover parts - APT Cranked Rear Trailing Arms 2" lift | Defender | Discovery 1 | Range Rover A lot stronger than stock and take all the angle stress off the bushes. There are other solutions, but went with these as are made in this country.

Further to this, I should add that the cranked arms were not entirely necessary, just on my to do list. I did a lot of Ks on standard bushings without any issues at all.

Hey guys install is going well, just had a query about if I should be ditching the extra washer (supplied with the new rear shocks) or getting a new replacement cup bush? Or are these not normal ? I have triple checked the part number.

The shocks are for RRC and D1.
the D1 has a cup welded to the bottom mount so you discard the one with the shocks, although I seem to recall Graeme Cooper telling me many years ago that he cut off the welded on cup.
