terrafirma or other +5" shocks
Hi guys trying locate some new shocks front and rear D1 5 inch over standard only ones I can find are terrafirma which seems to be pretty good from what I have read. Problem is shipping is crazy from the uk, is there a stockist in aus I looked at rovacraft but no luck ? Or maybe another brand changing pin or eye con figuration is not an issue .
Thanks

You could look at ome 60070L. Used to be called n73L
Pin to pin 11.7 in travel designed for front of patrol with 3-4 in lift. Get from ARB stores but can't remember the price. Other options are bilsteins or more expensive fox.
Terrafirma copied gwyn Lewis kit with raising the shock mounts etc.

Thanks Frantic I noticed you had to buy the raised rear mounts for the terra's shocks. My problem is I installing a 6 inch lift from an old classic ( was made 15 years ago ) problem with the lifted front towers ( I need to lift them another 65mm) is it fowling on the AFM meter. I worked out the new bump stops/travel etc to avoid this but now I have bind up issues with my front prop shaft.

A lot of lifted landrover owners recommend tom woods in the USA , I'll be looking at getting a double cardon off him in the future. I got a uk made wide angle one but the bearings where stuffed within 25,000 ks so next time they go I'll replace it with a DC prop.

I got the Britpart Cellular Dynamic shocks for my P38, they're well built and work great (not at all typical of the name badge).
They're not gas pressurized so are easy to fit and remove, also, there is almost no resistance on compression but lots of resistance on rebound so they damp spring oscillation without making pot holes feel twice as large as they really are.
They work well on and off road, my next set of shocks will be the same type.
