I have 4.4 pinion and ring gear and pinion from GBR with rear abr locker for 10 spline, at the time i contemplated changing the front to fine spline spider gears but i didnt

I realise this now, just that my locker in the rear is 10 spline
Despite the old-wives-tales they are also significantly stronger.
Axles break through fatigue and the 24 spline design is far better at resisting fatigue failure than the old 10 spline.
In a single twist from good to failure there isn't much in it. But that never happens while driving.
