    Tires

Evening gents, Looking at upgrading the tires on my disco fairly soon and I've decided on a set of cooper at/3s in the 265/70r16 sizing, I'm assuming I'll also need to purchase a different set of rims to fit them as at the moment I'm running the standard disco steel rims.
Anyone got some links of some suitable types?

The standard rims are fine for the 265 TYRES. Unless of course you want to change them.

Ah sweet, don't really want to change the rims but wasn't sure, my dad owns a defender from the same year with stock rims and had to change his, assuming that was just because the standard defender rims have such a small width

Yeah I'm planning to do the camel cut, may need to adjust the steering stopper as well from what I've heard

I have 285/75/16's on those rims, so 265's will fit well.

265/75-16's are basically 31" tyres (tiny bit bigger). I have found these are a really good diameter tyre for D1's. Yes you might need a small cut to the back guard at stock height, but the speedo ends up being very close and they just look the right size for the vehicle. They will fit well on the stock rims.
