    Tune Resistor

'95 ES D1 that is what we call in NZ a Jap Import. It came with the (I think) "yellow" tune resistor. I changed it to a "white" (again, I think). As I said, I think that was the colours - if not I changed from the Japanese domestic market tune to the international tune. I also added 3mm bullet connectors so I could change it more easily if needed. Still have the international tune resistor in. Haven't noticed any difference at all.
Also, it has had the catalytic converters removed since coming to NZ and before I got it.

I used a 1/4 watt resistor as I couldn't find 1 watt (or 1/2) and haven't had any issues. RoverGuage software says it's using the correct tune resistor and corresponding fuel map.

    HTH,

    Alister.
